日本警探山本来香港途中，遇上押解犯人李仲青回港的香港女警Michelle。李的同伙欲救李，结果两人都被山本杀死，而匪徒一共有四人，剩下的2个匪徒报复，杀害了山本的妻女，山本亦杀死其中一名匪徒，他们追踪最后一人到了矿厂，展开了一场恶战……。人，天生都愛美。很多人會化妝、美容、甚至是整容。但沒有多少人，能夠正視鏡子，坦然自在地剖開表面的華麗皮囊，暴露自己最赤裸最潛藏的一面。所以，醫生從來都只能醫「身」，難醫「心」。此劇以整形醫生加盟連鎖醫療集團作為引子，批判現世代主流的價值觀，啟發大眾反思「美」的定義及自我價值。 此劇為香港電視廣播史上首部呈現手術真實面貌的電視劇。此劇將會披露整容的真實過程，配合特技化妝及拍攝技術，呈現幾可亂真的手術前後，為觀眾帶來刺激的視覺效果。。Birds of paradise are one of David Attenborough's lifelong passions.
