两个情同姐妹的女中学生毕业后各奔前程：富家女独居别墅，贫家女进了训练班。贫家女的男友家明爱上了富家女，富家女出于道义婉拒；但在圣诞夜由于孤寂，两人发生了关系，事后富家女因内疚而自暴自弃。贫家女发现家明根本不喜欢自己，全心全意投入训练班的训练，取得优异成绩。但富家女没有出席她的毕业晚会，待她找到富家女的家里，只见富家女已经溺毙在游泳池中。。逢年過節就是華人女性最忙碌的時刻，農曆新年更堪稱「女性勞動周」，尤其是傳統觀念中，「媽媽」、「女兒」、「媳婦」除了被賦予除舊佈新的責任，過年期間還要駐守廚房、還要幫忙祭祀、張羅年菜...... 但到底一系列的過年習俗，讓女性們忙前忙後的背後意義是甚麼?。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children.
