A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry. Despite the murkiness of some of the issues in the latter conflict, the students pitch in enthusiastically on what they believe to be the side of righteousness, and passions rise to fever pitch. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide。1968年越前海岸三里浜，因不满老大安本富藏（西村晃 饰）独霸组织经营权，富安组•安本组若头川田登（松方弘树 饰）使用武力逼其交出游艇、赛马等行业的权力。交易虽然达成，但安本对川田恨之入骨。在老叔万古喜一（ハナ肇 饰）的引荐下，安本与大阪浅野组•金井组的金井八郎（千叶真一 饰）接头，欲借外来黑帮之手除掉川田。 万古借此机会成为安本组老大，随后策划了一场伏击川田的行动。川田险些丧命，伤未痊愈之际便回到北陆寻仇，并斩断安本的一只手臂。出狱之后，川田表面顺服，实则暗中勾结浅野组•冈野组图谋反攻。一场大阪黑帮暗中操控的代理战争旋即展开……。
