《玉响》是以广岛现实中存在的竹原市为舞台，描写高中生通过照相机感受每日幸福生活的故事。原作是监督佐藤顺一自《卡莱多之星》之后久违7年的新创作，担任《玉响》剧本创作的是在《水星领航员》系列，《卡莱多之星》中与佐藤顺一搭档的吉田玲子。顺便一提，吉田玲子同时操刀了去年的治愈系黑马动画《轻音》的系列构成。这部动画的主要人物设定从6月25日开始会依次于每周五在官网公开。。When Outlaws on the lam invade the home of an unsuspecting, seemingly innocent, frontier family to hide out for the night, an unexpected game of cat and mouse ensues, leading to seduction, role reversal, and ultimately, bloody revenge. 当亡命徒闯入毫无防备，看似无辜的家，身居边境的家庭趁夜逃离，猫鼠游戏却节外生枝，诱导迷惑，角色转换，最终，是血腥的复仇。。
