《恰同学少年》讲述了1913年，湖南长沙，著名教育家孔昭绶出任湖南第一师范校长，他大力开展新式教育改革，聘请了以杨昌济为代表的优秀中外教师，学校焕然一新。崭新的一师吸引了众多学子前来报考，19岁的毛泽东以第一名的成绩考入了这所千年学府。在共同的学习生活中，毛泽东、蔡和森、萧子升等有志青年结下友谊，同时湖南私立周南女子师范学校的陶斯咏、向警予、杨开慧等女学生也和他们因志趣相投走到了一起，一个先进青年学生组成的读书会成了他们学习、交流与思想碰撞的纽带。然而，动荡的时局打破了学生们的校园生活，在反对中日亲善的斗争中，军阀汤芗铭以武力逼走孔校长，毛泽东也险遭逮捕……本片描绘了共产党核心领导人在学生时期的求学经历，那一时期，还是学生的他们看透了旧中国的各种弊病，却还没有形成坚定的政治思想，为了寻找自己心目中的真理，他们聚在了一起成立新民学会，相互交流学习。开办工人夜校、下乡游学，参与各种的社会实践，在一步一步探索与成长过程中，找到了自己坚定不移的革命道路。。JERUSALEM takes audiences on an inspiring and eye-opening tour of one of the worlds oldest and most enigmatic cities.
