阿强（桑伟淋 饰）自幼学习中国武术，并在某次武术比赛之中取得了冠军的头衔，然而，自此之后，他的武士之路停滞不前，似乎是害怕这唯一的头筹被夺走，阿强放弃了参加比赛，只是在村里做小孩子的武术教练。某日，阿强邂逅了名为小虞的伤残女孩，女孩极力鼓励阿强离开村子，去外面的世界看一看。 小虞的话点醒了阿强，于是他和好友虾仔（李铁 饰）一起前往深圳。在深圳，阿强结识了歌女阿灵（倪景阳 饰），并且在一场误会之中被阿灵的姐夫赵威（滕军 饰）打到。之后，阿强找到了好友阿龙（赵子龙 饰）向其寻求帮助，却意外的得知阿龙的父亲是一名资深的散打教练。。Set in a small town in West Texas, four boyhood friends who made a solemn promise to leave town together immediately after high school graduation must now "put up or shut up." The clock is ticking, and as all 81 people in town watch, offer advice, and place bets, these four very different boys struggle with the biggest decision of their lives . . . whether to stay or leave home...。
