本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了在江户风格的时代、江户风格的城市，一边说着要成为优秀的武士，一边对所有事情都不负责任、不努力的武士校生矶部矶兵卫的胡来、充满吐槽的日常生活故事。。本片改编自诗人中尾太一的诗集《国道29号、解放》，以美丽的自然和恬静的风景为背景，讲述了不善沟通的孤独清洁工中井德子（绫濑遥饰），别名蜻蜓，和与众不同的少女小春（大泽一菜饰）出发，在连结兵库·姬路市到鸟取市的国道29号上旅行，通过与奇妙的人们的相遇，收获了丰富的感情，加强了两人间的羁绊，内心得到满足的公路故事。。James Robertson buys a painting depicting witches being burned at the stake, one of whom bears an uncanny resemblance to his wife, Chris.
