阳光明媚，和风煦日，井上心叶（入野自由配音）行走在上学的路上。斑马线另一端的人群中，天野远子（花泽香菜配音）宛若一朵亭亭玉立的水上花，兀自捧着手中的书本沉湎其中。转眼来至落英缤纷的圣条学院，略显萧条的文学部内，远子为心叶布置了新一天的作业，即以“扁舟”、“情书”和“撑杆跳”为题，写出今天供她品尝的无上美味。面对这个有些奇怪的组合，心叶无奈受命。在等待的过程中，撕着书本咀嚼的远子向心叶讲述了屠格涅夫的名作《初恋》中，主人公弗拉基米尔和齐娜依达那令人心动神驰的爱恋故事。不久，心叶的作品完成，可爱俏皮的远子即将经历一次前所未有的舌尖体验…… 本片根据野村美月的同名轻小说原作改编。。一事无成、生活惨淡的女子深信她已失去所有热情，直到年轻且朝气蓬勃的自己有天出现在眼前，要她做出改变。。A brother and sister move into an old seaside house they find abandoned for many years on the English coast.
