前国家帆板队运动员丹丹痛失奥运会预选赛的机会，离开了她为之奋斗多年的帆板队，同闺蜜张思阳来到三亚，在三亚结识小伙伴，展开了一段奇妙的旅程...……。故事发生在1998年的夏天，张成文（潘粤明 饰）的父亲张子明（李幼斌 饰）身为军长，自然希望儿子能够子承父业，为国家卖力，然而，张成文却并不这么想，他满门心思想要转业，去追求个人的荣耀和梦想，父子两人为此僵持不下，气氛十分紧张。那一边，林为群（高天 饰）虽然身为富家子弟，却毅然决然穿上军装，被编入了红军团四连。 连日的暴雨令长江水位猛涨，很快就超越了警戒线，洪水爆发，林为群所在的四连几乎全军覆没，当地群众身处险境，随时都有被洪水吞噬的危险。在这个命悬一线的时刻，团长周尚武（巫刚 饰），常委会总工程师韩盛元（赵有亮 饰）等能人志士纷纷站了出来，来到了抗击洪水的最前线。。Lera is a sociology student at a small-town university.
