When the baby's paper wings are left behind, the boy tries to give the wings back to his dead ...。本剧以都市单身男女为主角，追踪他们的相亲生活和感情生活，以纪实的手法凸显当代男女的感情观、婚姻观和家庭观。。天寒地冻的札幌，身为私家侦探的“我”和搭档高田泡在一家安静昏暗的酒吧里打发无聊的时光。与此同时，在当地金融界颇有声望的雾岛敏夫社长在夜归途中因救助一名女性遭人杀害。此后不久，“我”接到一通神秘电话，电话另一头的女人自称近藤京子，她委托“我”去某律师事务所打听名叫加藤的男子的行踪。看似简单的任务，却将“我”和高田拉入危险重重的泥潭。更诡异的真相不久也浮出水面，真正的近藤京子早在一年前就在一场火灾中死去……。
