彼时，还只是一个乞丐的少年陈皮阿四因一句谶语决定开始 “一百文，杀一人”的买卖。 被黄葵帮炮头屠尽满门的渔家少年春申，成为了他第一个顾客。然而，春申只有99文钱，陈皮阿四少一文都不杀。 当春申用生命换来这一文钱时，陈皮阿四为春申的复仇也开始了…….。大学の非常勤講師として働く昼間吉人（３1）（岡山天音）は、妊娠中の姉から甥っ子・幸太（10）を押し付けられ、預かることに。しかし間もなく、幸太が失踪。吉人はどうにか幸太を探し出すと、現実に絶望し、意味ありげに「ここじゃないどっかに行きたい」という幸太に共感。二人の関係は深まり、共に吉人の専門である悲観主義（ぺシミズム）を突き詰めていく。“人生を悲観しつつも、どこか楽しい”不思議な共同生活を送る二人。やがて、それぞれにとって最悪の悲劇が起こる。。Love and desire fill the minds of villagers in a Hungarian speaking village in Transylvania, Romania, even in their old age.
