1996年，四年级学生塞西尔·史蒂文斯每次说出自己的名字时都会想起他可怕的口齿不清，为了避免被社会嘲弄，塞西尔决定把他难以发音的名字改为——迈克尔·乔丹。Photographer Greg Nolan meets Bernice, and loses both his job and his apartment. However, Bernice manages to get him a new apartment, but it is so expensive that he has to get two full-time jobs. Nolan has trouble finding time to do them both without his bosses finding out.。
