2003年12月，广州中山大学中文系公演了《阴道独白》。自此，这部来自美国、致力于消除性别暴力的女性主义戏剧，在中国大陆燃起了一股阴道之火。上海复旦大学知和社、上海海狸社、北京Bcome小组，不同的剧组用不同的方式演绎。她们在学校演、在小剧场演、在咖啡馆演、在街头演、在地铁里演。《阴道独白》也有了自己的中国名字：《阴DAO多云》、《阴道之道》、《将阴道独白到底》。这些名字都保留着那个令公众感到刺耳的词——阴道。“阴道，我说出来了”，这是一个说出来的过程，也是一个行动的过程；这是自我觉醒的过程，也是走向公众空间的过程；这是学习、认识的过程，也是本土化的过程。十年后，我们重走阴道，去问问当年的参与者，看看现在的行动者，听听来自阴道的声音。。French director Alain Guiraudie’s follow-up to his 2013 controversial and daring film STRANGER BY THE LAKE once again shocked the audience at Cannes Film Festival.
