But the camp is in serious financial trouble and the owner of a rival, more popular, camp wants to buy them out. Therefore they will have to engage in a mean, winner-takes-all competition that will settle the row once and for all.。剧集以中华传统美食为主线，讲述了民间出身的年轻厨娘凌小小立志成为“天下第一御厨”，通过层层考验来到皇宫，凭借出众的厨艺成功得到太子赏识，并与太子相知相爱的曲折故事。机智善良的凌小小了毫不畏惧皇帝、皇后、贵妃、晋王等人的为难和考验，在太子的帮助下，一次次以高超的厨艺、美味的菜肴化解危机。她逐步成长，最终收获了爱情，友情和事业。。
