Rebellion is a five part serial drama about the birth of modern Ireland.The story is told from the perspectives of a group of fictional characters who live through the political events of the 1916 Easter Rising.。根据田中雄一狼的同名小说改编，影片以在偏僻郊区生活的草太（井浦新）和同居人乐人（成田凌）为主线，讲述没有目标吊儿郎当生活的两个人身边发生的各种故事。有控制小镇不良少年构建新型黑社会的八田，忍受家庭暴力的未婚母子，还有虚伪的朋友，草太和乐人被卷入他们的恐怖生活，面临的还有不可知的命运。。
