One gets the win while one designer is sent home before they can even unpack...。古泷一路（古馆宽治饰）是一个穷困潦倒的中年人，没有正经工作，每天都在孤苦伶仃的混日子。其实，一路有一个弟弟名叫二路（泷藤贤一饰），只不过，两人已经八年没有联系了。这一天，二路突然联系上了哥哥，说自己要回来，并且似乎还遇上了什么危险的事故。在事故现场，倒地的男子田村（宫藤官九郎饰）将自己未能完成的委托托付给了一路。 原来，田村的工作是做“出租大叔”，也就是将自己以1000日元每小时的价格租给客户，扮演任何客户想要他扮演的角色。在有惊无险的完成了第一次任务之后，田村提出希望能够继续和一路、二路合作。。
