Two young boys, best friends Malik and Eric, discover the joys and hardships of growing up in the sprawling Cabrini-Green public housing complex in 1992 Chicago in the latest film from director Minhal Baig (Hala, TIFF ’19).。正值情窦初开之时的公主，以为自己的心上人是付望舒，却可惜无缘亦无份。而另一边，九皇叔和她虽以叔侄相称却并无血缘关系。皇叔对于她来说，亦师亦友，且两人年龄相差无几，可谓青梅竹马，两小无猜。可孟玉珥一开始却没意识到九皇叔的一往情深，爱他念他也不自知，毕竟辈分不对。。
