Haunted by the death of his father and other psychological traumas, Daniel (Roberto Scorza) returns to the home where he was raised. Faced with intense emotional scars, as well as physical -- which are realized by the years of self-harm depicted by the cuttings adorning his body -- he enters the bathroom to begin a journey of self-exploration, self-mutilation and quite possibly...。某日，一个巨大陨石掉落到了日本富士山附近。人类在陨石内部发现了外星技术并设立了专门的机构对其进行解析。10年后的某日，外星人ワーキュリー到地球抢夺陨石，而同时人渣教师羽柴当吉也在打陨石的主意，并强迫他的八个学生去启动陨石内部的仪器，结果超级机器人ガクセイバー就由陨石中诞生了……ガクセイバー由脑波操纵，武器则都靠驾驶员自己的想象力来生成。在漫画版中机体的颜色是蓝，但由于OVA的主战场是宇宙，为了能和背景对比而改成了红色。。
