This story relates to our lives as we strive to do our best, not just in sports, school but also relationships between friends...。宋朝时期，蹴鞠运动，也就是足球远动风靡全国上下。国内有许多专业的球队，“太和楼”就是其中之一。球队的绝对主力柳复生（任泉 饰）背负着父亲的期待，视足球为第一要务。球队仪仗队成员月娥（李冰冰 饰）对复生暗生情愫，却被复生毫不留情的视为妹妹。一次偶然，月娥结识了很会踢球的烧饼小子张俊（李宗翰 饰），经过一番波折后，张俊也进入到了“太和楼”。但复生和张俊两人互看对方不顺眼，导致了一场重要比赛的失利。太和楼被丰乐楼收购，所有成员都需要经过选拔才能留下，复生和张俊陷入到了危机中。 在复生的帮助下，张俊也顺利进入到了丰乐楼。三人的感情逐渐加深，球艺也每日俱进。这时，号称复生未婚妻的宝珠（王嘉悦 饰）却杀到了丰乐楼……。
