影片讲述了民国时期永福村发现重大命案，警局体制陈旧不作为，推诿到侦探社，社长跑路，留下一心想破大案的女侦探周怡(周梦饰)，陷入了迷茫。偶得高人指点，周怡来到县城监狱见到了风流倜傥的神探姚杰斯(彭敬慈饰)，协助她一起破案。当永福村命案初露端倪，却有人接连丧命。村子祠堂里诡秘的图腾，不配合调查的刁蛮村民，作案不会留下指纹的犯罪嫌疑人……错综复杂的迷案，周怡和姚杰斯屡次身陷绝境。。傅國兆早年由中國內地逃到香港，寄住姑母家，並開了一間工廠，又與同為內地來港的鋼琴手莊樂生交往。 隨後莊樂生的未婚夫李烈與妹妹偷渡至香港。李烈來到香港認識了幾位黑道中人，一起從事竊車行業…。A group of British students enbark on summoning spirits on a Ouija board after a night of clubbing.
