A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photo journalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.。丈夫意外去世后，张嘉琪独自带着女儿艰难度日。在好友江峰的帮助下，利用空余的时间在一家网约车公司做夜班司机贴补家用。初出茅庐的张嘉琪在兼职的第一个晚上便遇上了醉酒的程金，差点受到侵犯。为了不想让家人担心，张嘉琪决定息事宁人。谁知，张嘉琪收到网约车公司的通知，自己被乘客投诉暴力伤人。沉默的证人，无法辩解的真相，黑暗悄然来临……。此剧描述男女主角在度假胜地相遇，两人于酒醉后发生了一夜情，后来各自回到了日常生活。偶然间两人在公司里，以本部长和营养师的身份再度相逢，原本的一夜情缘，又有了延续发展的机会。
