电影以1876年－1877年中的西南战争和明治维新作为背景，描述一个前美国军人，到日本助明治新政而组建的日本新军做教官，在战争途中被俘，慢慢被日本传统文化所吸引。。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。
