梅芳草，一个居住在越南的平凡女子，为了筹钱让母亲治病，加上寻亲计划，毅然当上越南新娘，漂洋过海来到新加坡，却经历了重重波折，后来凭着芳草的毅力与真诚，打动大伤初愈的钟世杰，让她辗转以越南媳妇儿的身份嫁入钟家。芳草的命运从那一刻开始，起了峰回路转的变化，芳草与世杰的命运莫名其妙地纠结牵绊在一起。。The movie will feature the family of Mohanlal's character Georgekutty and so they will be reprising their roles. The rest of the cast though will change, and we are sorting out the other aspects including casting right now.。故事发生在维多利亚时期（约1836-1901），讲述了博士的好朋友Amy Pond和Rory Williams被哭泣的天使带走后他自己经历的一段低迷难过的时期，而后来又是如何走出来的。。
