Ricky is the hottest water-ski instructor around and he has just be rehired by his former employer/camp to whip up attendance. But the camp is in serious financial trouble and the owner of a rival, more popular, camp wants to buy them out. Therefore they will have to engage in a mean, winner-takes-all competition that will settle the row once and for all.。李翰祥執導的《佛跳牆》共有四個單元，首個故事是描述一對母子因施予濟公一碗豆漿而逃過喪命之危；其二則說濟公幫助賣菜漢，逃離高利貸者的滋擾；其三則寫濟公以櫻桃化夜明珠，將大盜教訓一頓；最末一則是描寫濟公以巧計捉弄胡作非為的相爺父子。李翰祥借濟公的善行，針貶權貴惡霸的種種惡行，為平民大眾吐一口烏氣。。教堂中，一对新人——Melinda（詹妮弗·洛芙·休伊特 Jennifer Love Hewitt 饰）和Jim（大卫·康拉德 David Conrad 饰）正在举行婚礼。突然，有一个谁都看不到人向Melinda寻求帮助。原来Melinda从小就象她祖母一样，具有一种和鬼魂沟通的神秘能力，祖母告诉她这些鬼魂之所以不肯离开，是因为他们和活着的人之间还有未完成的事，并把他们叫做“土地幽灵”。因为Melinda具有与鬼魂沟通的这种特殊能力，所以常常有鬼魂来找她帮忙，并进行一些超自然的调查。正因为此，Melinda经常遭到人们的非议和质疑，但当她发现自己不仅能帮助死者，也同样对在世的人给予援手时，她知道自己的特异功能不是负担而是一笔财富……。
