The poet Dante is lost in a dark and gloomy wood. At the summit of a mountain he sees the light of salvation. He endeavors to ascend to it, but his way is barred by three wild beasts, symbolizing Avarice, Pride and Lust. Virgil knows another way to go, ...。经营咖啡店的桧山贵志（小出惠介饰），他的妻子被三名13岁少年残忍杀害。然而根据青少年保护法，凶手作为未成年人而得到额外保护。身为受害者的贵志及家人既不知道凶手的真实身份，也不知道少年们作案的动机。他的生活被彻底摧毁，人生的方向也发生根本转变。如是过了四年，少年们经过改造重新走上社会。而贵志不顾身边人的劝说，执意要调查少年们改造后的情况。在此过程中，名叫和也的行凶少年之一被人杀害，缺乏不在场证明且拥有作案动机的贵志一瞬间成为了最大嫌疑犯。以血洗血的复仇，以悲剧的形式迅速展开…… 本片根据药丸岳荣获第51回江户川乱步赏的同名推理小说改编。。该片是新DC宇宙开篇之作，故事将会聚集到超人早年岁月之中。。
