Jimmy is the only man who, after his divorce, still has to deal with his disapproving, meddling mother-in-law. When his ex-wife volunteers to go to east Africa to help the victims of a natural disaster, weekend-dad Jimmy agrees to take care of their two teenage kids full time in an attempt to win her back!。年龄和生活水平各不相同的3名母亲，都有“想让孩子考上志愿学校”的迫切愿望。另一方面，3个孩子也有不能对父母说的“严重问题”。于是神秘的家庭教师根津寅子（桥本爱饰）对这3个家庭提供了个别指导。寅子绝对不会说教，也不会说很难的话，只是让孩子们看到世界上存在的现实。孩子们会在不知不觉中掌握“正确的用钱方法”。然后，他们会稍微明白自己要走的路。一开始对寅子疑神疑鬼的父母们，在慢慢长大的孩子面前，也对自己的人生开始有了自信，开始探索新的家庭模式。@哦撸马（阿点）。
