A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry. Despite the murkiness of some of the issues in the latter conflict, the students pitch in enthusiastically on what they believe to be the side of righteousness, and passions rise to fever pitch. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide。解放战争时期，胶东某地。地主郝海（任颐 饰）要带还乡团血洗全村的消息在翻身户中炸开了，春来爸（周森冠 饰）接到郝五爷（李颉 饰）的报信，决定让儿子春来（贾乃光 饰）打入还乡团内部，了解敌人的人员装备情况。次日，春来以送粮为名混入敌人还乡团部，把收集到的情报送往接头地点。中途由于受地主儿子纠缠，错过了接头时间，前来接应的春来爸被敌发现，中枪受伤。当春来找到爸爸时，他已因伤重牺牲。春来强忍悲痛，只身找到游击队，把情报告诉了王区长（刘儒 饰）。在配合游击队打回村里时，春来不幸被捕，面对酷刑，他毫不畏惧...... 本片根据孙峻青小说《变天》改编。。
